    "comment": "I support the direction of increasing k from 500 to 1000 as a means of promoting Cardano's long-term decentralization.Distributing stake and block production opportunities across a greater number of pools is valuable. Even when existing operators split their pools, this can still represent progress in pool-level decentralization and may create opportunities for greater diversity in infrastructure and operations. Of course, a broader distribution of stake among independent operators would be even more desirable.However, I do not consider 1000 to be necessarily the optimal value. A gradual adjustment, such as increasing k to 750, may also be a reasonable option. The actual effects and implications should be evaluated as we move forward.Furthermore, changing k alone will not address every challenge. Other reward parameters, including pledge, Min Pool Cost, and margin, should also be reviewed continuously from the perspectives of decentralization and the long-term sustainability of pool operations. For example, while Min Pool Cost creates an economic incentive to operate multiple pools, the extent to which this materially affects Sybil resistance should be evaluated quantitatively rather than assumed.Finally, I have concerns about the design of this poll. SPOs have a direct economic interest in the outcome, and stake-weighted voting gives greater influence to operators controlling larger amounts of stake. In addition, a tallying method in which non-voting effectively works against approval raises questions about whether the poll accurately captures SPO preferences.Consulting SPOs is important, but I do not believe that their level of support should be a prerequisite for proceeding with a future parameter change.
